Early & Head Start Community Involvement Opportunities

Partnerships

Community Action collaborates with a variety of organizations, agencies, and community groups to provide well-rounded support to children and families through our Head Start and Early Head Start programs. Key partnerships include local school districts, healthcare providers, mental health services, and nutrition programs. Together, we ensure children receive comprehensive education, health, and family support services, creating a strong foundation for lifelong success.

In-Kind Contributions

In-kind contributions are vital to our Head Start programs. These are non-monetary donations of goods, services, or time, such as donated classroom supplies, professional services, or volunteer hours. In-kind support helps us meet federal matching requirements and enables us to offer high-quality services to children and families. Every contribution makes a lasting impact.

Head Start Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteers are key to enriching our Head Start and Early Head Start programs. You can read to children, assist teachers, help with family events, serve on policy councils, or contribute administrative support. Volunteering allows you to make a direct impact on children’s lives and connect with families in meaningful ways.
